How the free download works

  1. Download and install. Get LEADR for Mac or Windows on the trial page and run the installer. On your phone? Leave your email there and the links wait in your inbox.
  2. Open it in your DAW. LEADR loads as a VST3 or AU in FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, GarageBand and every major host. The install guide has the exact steps for each one.
  3. Start the trial. Click Activate in the plugin, choose Start trial and sign in with a free account. Your 7 days start right away.

What's in the free download

The trial is the whole thing, not a cut-down demo.

  • A dual-slot sampler and three oscillators with editable wavetables
  • Chord lock: one key, a whole chord or progression
  • The WATERFALL arp, which cascades a chord into a moving wash
  • 200+ presets and 500+ one-shots from the OTAKU packs
  • The Organica expansion
  • A full FX rack
LEADR's sampler page: a waveform, envelope knobs and loop, reverse and stretch buttons

After the 7 days

LEADR locks until you pick a way to keep it. Your projects and presets stay safe and unlock the moment you do.

Questions

Is LEADR free?

You can use the full plugin free for 7 days. After that it's $12 a month for 12 months with rent to own, or $139 once.

Is the free download the full version?

Yes. Every one-shot, preset and effect, plus the Organica expansion. No watermark, no missing features.

Do I need a credit card?

No. The trial is free and needs no card. You only pay if you decide to keep it.

What happens to my projects after the trial?

LEADR locks until you buy, but your projects, presets and banks stay safe. They unlock again the moment you do.

Which DAWs does LEADR work in?

FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig and any other DAW that loads VST3 or AU plugins.

What about a LEADR crack?

Skip it. The trial already gives you the full plugin for free, and a cracked installer from a stranger is a real malware risk. More on that here.
